At a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commissionerst Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paduoah,
Kentucky at 2 olcloak P.M„ on the 8th day of August, 19280 Mayor Lackey
presided and upon call of the roll the following answered to their names:
Commissioners Brads Haw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5);

Commissioner Nelson offered motion that the report of Gus Rogers,
Police Dept.Report Chief of Police, for the month of July, 1928 be received and filed. Adopted on

Mayor Lackey offered the following motion: An ordinance entitled,

PADUCAH, h -MUCKY TO BE HELD ON THE REGULAR ELECTION DAY, TUESDAY, NOVEBER 6TH 1928

PADUCAH SEAT:L ISETE AND SELL BONDS OF SAID CITY TO THE AMOUNT OF EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND
($8CO,000.00) DOLLARS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING, BUILDING, EQUIPPING AND
PUTTING INTO OPERATION AN ELECTRIC LIGHT AND P01lER PLANT IN SAID CITY, SO AS TO PRO-
VIDE ELECTRIC Pa.'.TR AND LIGHTS FOR TIb CITY OF PADUCAH AND ITS CITIZENS Oil A FAIR,
