At a regular meeting Of the Board of Commissioners held in the
Commissioners) Chamber in the City Hall Building in the City of Paducah,
Kentucky at two o'clock P.M., on the 30th day of July, 1928, Mayor Lackey
presided and upon call of the r6ll the following answered to their namess

Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter and Mayor Lackey, (5);
Minutes of the previous meetings were adopted as read.
Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the Cash Orders' in the
amount of $100.75 be allowed and the Commissioner of Public Finance be re -

imbursedand that this amount be charged to the proper Departments. Adopted
on the call of the roll: Yana; Commissioners Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, Rutter

Commissionor Rutter offered motion that the bill of Burn`s &
McDonnell covering traveling and hotel bxpenbes for C.F.Lambert, in the amount

of $29.50,be allowed and charged to the Contingent Fund. Adoptees on the call

Commissioner Haiinin offered motion that A.G.Strauss having applied for
deed to lot No.32, block 5, on Ford & Foreman Streets, Southwest Side, in Oak

Commissioner Hannin offered the following motion: The Commissioner of
Public Property having advertised for bids for the construction of a residence
Pest House
and Administration Building at the Post House by sealed bids to be delivered on
or before 12 o'clock noon on Monday, July 30, 1928, and said bids having been
opened by said Commissioner and it appearing therefrom that the bid of C.Holt,
Contractor, to furnish material and build said building according to the plans
and specifications at a cost of $865.00, is the lowest and best bid, I now move
that contract for the construction of said building accordin,, to the plans and
specifications be awarded to said C. Holt, Contractor, for the cost price of
$865.00, and that said contract be paid for when finished. Adopted on the call
of the roll: Yeas; COLmissionors Bradshaw, Hannin, Nelson, flutter and L'.ayor Lackey,

Mayor Lackey offered the following motion: I move that, an ordinance entitled,
"AN ORDI77ANCE PROVIDING FOR AN ELECTION BY THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF
Light Pl- P1,DUCAH, KENI1'UCKY TO B HELD ON THE REGULAR ELECTION DAY, TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH, 1928
and Ord.
IN TIC CI?Y OF PAGUCfH, XENTUChT, TO DETERLIINE THE QUESTION '�.`HETHER T7Ih: CITY OF
FA:'UCAH SHALL ISSUE AND SELL BONDS OF SAID CITY TO THE AMOUNT OF EIGHT HUNDRED THOUSAND
($800,000.00) DOILARS FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING, BUILDING, EQUIPPING AND PUTTING

Report mains and Sire plugs laid and completed during the month of July, 1928, be received
