At a Called meeting of the Board of Commissioners hold in the
Corm:issionersi chamber on the third floor of the City Hall in'the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, at 3 o'clock P.M., January 13th, 1928. mayor Lackey presided and upon
the call of the roll the following answered to their names: Commissioners Bradshaw,
Eannin, Nelson, Rutter and llayor Lackey, (5).

The Mayor stated reasons for call, to -wit: To take up the Yancey &
Johnson matter and'such'other business as may come beforb the Bo&rd.
Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the report of the Yancey &

Yancey & Johnson contract No.l, be accepted, and the Coomissionor of Public Finance be

Contract authorized to pay to Hecht S. Lackey, assignee of Yancey & Johnson, $7860.70, the

amount collected on s ad assessment, as shown by said raporbR and to malts final
settlembnt upon sale of the Improvement Bonds to be issued thereon on the ten year
payment plan; and that the Mayor and Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized
to have printed, executed and sold such Improvement Bonds to the amount of $49941.73

Commissioner Mtter offered motion that the semi-annual interest on
the School Improvement Bonds of 1920 will become due on January 15th, 1928, and
semi-
annual that the Commissioner of Public Finance be authorized to pay same in the amount of

Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the Commissioner of Putrlio ,

Commissioner Rutter offered motion that the claim of F.E. Graves for
M nim of services as Special Police Judge, on December 27, 28 & 29th, 1927, be allowed.
