At a joint meeting of the General Council held on the Third Floor of
the City Hall, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, July the 21st, 1924, President Colc
called the meeting to order.
Upon the call of the roll the following ansrtcred to their names: Cole,
Alliston, Brooks, ".l. E. Cochran, Davis, Rieke, Yopp, ;9atts, Bougeno, W.E. Cochran,
Crider, Jacobs, Kerth, Mason, t:orrison, Owen, Riggleaber�er, Spicer and Stewart. (11)
This meeting was held for the purpose of ratifying report of the Fire &
Jones, Police Committee regarding R. C. Jones, a patrolman, charged with misconduct, in
.rolman.
accosting Dan Sullivan, a prisoner, on July the 13th, 1924.
Member W. E. Cochran offered motion to concur in the majority report of
Suspension of
the Police and Fire Committee that R.C. Jones be reprimanded by the Mayor and sus-

10 days. Member Rieke offered an amendment to the above motion that we concur
in the minority report. Motion lost upon the call of the r811. Yeas : Rieke, Yonp,
Crider, Jacobs, Mason, Owen, and Stewart. (7). Nays: Cole, Alliston, Brooks, V% E.-
Oochran, Davis, IM011 Bougeno, Cochran, Kerth, Morrison, Rigelesberger and Spicer.

The above motion adopted upon the call of the roll: Yeas: Cole,
Alliston, Brooks, l7. E. Cochran, Davis, Rieke, 1.atts, Bougeno, J. E. Cochran,Crider,
Jacobs, Mason, Morrison, Rieglesberber and Spicer. (15). Nays: Yopp, Kerth, Owen,
and Stewart (4).
