City Hall, in thq City of Paducah, Kentucky, November 7th, 1927, Prdsident Hannin pi�e- sided and upon the call of the roll, the following answered to their names•: Hannin, Cole, Dunbar, Rieke and Tyree. (5). Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. Payrolls. Member Rieke offered motion to allow payrolls in the amount of 09213.20. A dopted on the call of the roll: Yeas; (5). Claims. Same offered motion to allow claims for `967.60. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas; (5). Same offered motion that the amount of 0504.22 approved.by the Joint Finance' 504.22 for Committee covering statement filed;,by the Plumbing and Sevier Inspector for construction^ catch basin and sewer - of new catch basins and cost of sewer pipe, previously charged to the Sevier Department, pipe. be allowed and same credited to the Sevres Department and charged to the Second District Relief Sevier Fund. Member Rieke offered motion that the recommendation of the Treasurer's ly� 7e y/g, settlement report on the McKelvey Construction Company's Sewer contract, Zone 6, also the allowance of .15548.33 cash collections paid the contractor, and that the Clerk be authorized to issue proper warrant on the Treasurer for same. Ryan Construction Company's Contract ,#6 for hard sur - Contract #6. facing Trimble street be accepted and the treasurer authorized to effect final settle- ment upon sale of the Bonds covering 10 year agreements. Also that the Mayor and City Treasurer be authorized to have printed, executed and sell such bonds in the amount of $20,351.27 in accordance with procedure as set forth in Kentucky Statutes governing 10 year agreements. Also that the Mayor and Treasurer be authorized to have printed, exec uted and sell such bonds in the amount of $4600.23 in accordance with procedure as set forth in Kentuc'tty Statutes governing 10 year agreements. Member Cole offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Councilmen Gravelling in adopting the following: VEEREAS, it was ordered by action d the General Council at of streets along the its regular meeting on October 17th, 1927, that a sum not to exceed p2,000.00 be made newly con- structed available and subject to the Board of Public Works for the repair of streets by the plae- curbs and gutters. ing of gravel thereon along the newly constructed curbs and gutters, in the City of Paducah, and that the Mayor and City Treasurer be authorized to borrow said moeny to take care of such emergency; and, Y=REAS, it now appears that more than $2,000.00 has been paid into the .City Treasury from delinquent tax collections, which was not anticipated at the time of the adoption of the original apportionment ordinance; I now move that the City's proportionate part of the above sun be set aside out of said del- inquent tax collections, and that the same be not.paid into the General Fund, but held as a separate account for the purpose of providing for said expense of repair, which will dispense with the necessity of borrowing said sum as directed in said original motion. RESOLVED that the Sewer Inspector is hereby authorized to install this pipe and charge to the Spedial Sewer Fund. The pipe is to remain the property of the City.
