At a regular meeting, of the Board of Aldermen held on the Third
Floor of the City Hall, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, June the 20th, 1927,
President Hannin presided, and upon the call of the roll the following answered to
their name: Hannin, Bell, Cole, Davis, Dunbar, Hendricks, Rieke and Tyree -(B).
Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.
Member Rieke offered motion that the letter from the Kentucky
Ky. Utilities Co. Utilities Company waiving the provisions of its contract with the City of Anril
the 27th, 1927, obligating the City,to offer for sale a Franchise to operate a street
railway over Seventeenth Street and hest Jefferson Street, in the City of Paducah,
but asking, that other provisions of the contract be complied with, be received and
filed, and that deed conveying their property on 17th Street from Broadway to
Trimble, Jefferson Street from 17th Street to 25th Street, 35th Street from Jefferson
Street to Central hvenue, and Central Avenue from 35th Street to the property line

of the Paducah Country Club, which property line is one of the boundaries of the
