At an adjourned meeting of the Board of Aldermen held on the Third
Floor of the City Hall, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, June the 8th, 1927,
President Hammin presided, and upon the call of the roll the followinrr ans�-ered

1.7. F. Owem "WHEREAS - It has pleased the Almighty to remove from us, by death, our
resolution.
esteemed friend and Co -Worker, W. F. Owen, who has for many years occupied
a prominent place in our midst maintaining under all circumstances a character
untarnished, and a reputation above reproach. i
THEREFORE - Resolved that in the death of Mr. W. F. Owen, we have sustained

the loss of a friend chose fellowship it was an honor to enjoy, that we bear
willing testimony to his many virtues, to his unquestionable honesty and his

unfailing willingness to do and serve at all times; that we offer to his �

widow and fawily, over whom sorrow has hung her sable mantle, our heartfelt
sympathy, and pray that the Infinite Goodness may bring speedy relief to their
