At a regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen held on thn Third Floor
of the City Hall, in the City of Paducah, Kentucky, June 21, 1926, President
Hannin presided, and upon the call of the roll the following answered to their
names: Hannin, Bell, Boyd, Choate, Cole, Rieke and Tyree. (7).
Minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read.

Refunding Bonds. City of Paducah, Kentucky, in the sum of $33,000.00 purchased by Block, Fetter

Trost. & Trost can not be delivered until July 1, 1926; and,
511.'IEsAS THE City of Paducah has outstanding railroad refunding, bonds in
the sum of ,38,000.00, and the names and addresses of the holders of said bonds
are not known to the city, and all of said bonds will be due and payable at the
"echanics and Lietals National Bank, 20 Nassau Street, New York,City, New York on
July 1, 1926, together with accrued interest for the last six months prior there-
to:
I move that the lriayor and City, Treasurer be authorized and directed
to forward to the Mecaanics and Metals National Bank, 20 Nassau Strc,,t, New York
City, New York, the sum of $5,000, payable from the sinking fund of said City,
to be applied upon the principal of s°Lid outstanding bonds, and also the accrued
interest for the past six months; and also that they be directed to make definite
arrangements with Block, Fetter & Trost, the purchaser of said bonds, with
reference to the payment of the purchase price of (33,000.00 in a satisfactory
manner to effect a retirement of the old bonds and a delivery of the new issue
