Upon the call of the roll the following answered to their names: Bougeno, Cochran, Crider, Jacobs, Kerth, Mason, Morrison, Owens, Riglesberger, Spicer and Stewart. (11). In the absence of President Watts, member Rigglesberger was elected President Pro Tem. On motion the minutes of the previous meeting were adopted as read. Member Cochran offered motion that the City Solicitor be instructed to bring Banks Assessment. in a resolution whereby the Banks making complaint by reason of the manner of assess- ment by the Board of Equalization, be granted relief, and tax bills be corrected ac- cordingly: Adopted on the call of the roll: ' Yeas (11). Eember Jacobs offered motion to reconsider and allow bill of the Hanks Motor flanks Motor Company in the amount of 1264,80 for repairs and parts on Chandler car, and the Clerk Co. be instructed to issue proper warrant on the Treasurer charging same to the Police Department. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas (11). Member Kerth read an ordinance entitled"All ORDINANCE REGULATING THE BUSINESS OF SOLICITORS OR VENDORS IN THc CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY." Member Cochran offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Aldermen Steam in referring to the City Solicitor and Ordinance Committee, the petition of citizens Ordinance. asking for an ordinance requiring people who handle steam under pressure, to pass an examination. Adopted on the call of the roll: Yeas (ll). Member -anon offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Aldermen in regard to the Paducah Electric Company being instructed to place a light on the Light at corner of :heeler Avenue and "A" Street, at a cost of ;1131.43, for installation. Member Cochran offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Aldermen Light in disapproving the request of citizens for light at the corner of 16th and Clark Sts. 16th & Clerk Sts. Member Cochran offered motion to concur in the action of the Board of Light Aldermen in regard to referring to the Light Committee, a petition from citizens 12th & asking for the installation of a street light on the corner of 12th & Palm Sts.
