A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ACCEPT A
GRANT AWARD AND TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A
2018 REIMBURSEMENT GRANT THROUGH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND
SECURITY, LAW ENFORCEMENT PROTECTION PROGRAM, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$11,305 TO BE USED TO PURCHASE SEVENTEEN (17) BODY ARMOR VESTS FOR THE
PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary
to accept a 2018 reimbursement grant through the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security, Law
Enforcement Protection Program, in the amount of $11,305 to be used to reimburse the Paducah
Police Department for the purchase of seventeen (17) body armor vests. No local cash or in-kind
match is required.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
