A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF PADUCAH POLICE
DEPARTMENT TO APPLY FOR A 2020 U.S. BULLETPROOF VEST PARTNERSHIP
GRANT IN AN AMOUNT OF $5,506.90 THROUGH THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE
FOR USE BY THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Paducah Police Department is hereby authorized to apply
for a 2020 U.S. Bulletproof Vest Partnership Grant through the U.S. Department of Justice in the
amount of $5,506.90 to be used to purchase SWAT body armor vests for the Police Department.
The City will provide a cash match of $5,506.90 from the Police Department's FY20 operating
funds.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
