ORDINANCE NO. 2004-9-6868
AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF FEDERAL MATERIALS CO.,
INC., FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF ITS REQUIREMENT OF CONCRETE, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
C" SECTION 1. That the City accepts the bid of Federal Materials Co., Inc., for sale
to the City of its requirement of concrete, for the remainder of 2004 and calendar year 2005, with
a one-year option to renew, said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications,
and as contained in the bid of Federal Materials Co., Inc., of August 10, 2004, for the following
prices:

SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract
' with Federal Materials Co., Inc., for sale to the City of the material authorized in Section 1
above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract documents heretofore
approved and incorporated in the bid of August 10, 2004.
SECTION 3. Federal Materials, Co., Inc., will furnish to the City, within ten (10)
days after execution of said contract, a performance bond in the amount of $1,000.00.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS
