HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO # 1694MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1694 A MUNICIPAL ORDER AMENDING SECTIONS (F), POLICE DEPARTMENT, (G), FIRE DEPARTMENT AND (H), ENGINEERING/PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT OF THE FY2012-2013 POSITION AND PAY SCHEDULE FOR THE FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department of the City of Paducah finds it necessary to update the FY2012-2013 Position and Pay Schedule adopted by the Board of Commissioners on June 26, 2012, for full-time employees as follows: _. • Fire and Police step increases • This amendment also includes clean-up and audit necessary to reflect the correct number of vacant and filled positions. Engineering Public Works Reduce by one Equipment Operator position from the Street Division Add one Right -Of -Way Maintenance Person position to the Street Division • Create one Public Works Supervisor - Compost position Fire Department • Add one Deputy Fire Marshal I position to the Fire Prevention Division. This position was authorized by the commission on August 28th, 2012 as part of Ordinance 2012-8-7966 accepting the Assistance to Fire Fighters Fire Prevention and Safety Grant. WHEREAS, in order to implement the changes it is necessary to amend the FY2012-2013 Position and Pay Schedule. BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby approves to amend the FY2012-2013 Position and Pay Schedule for the employees of the City of Paducah as attached hereto. SECTION 2.
