ORDINANCE NO. 2004-2-6760
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY BETWEEN THE FEDERAL
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR A
MATCHING GRANT FOR THE PURCHASE OF FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT
AND ANCILLARY ITEMS
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for a Federal Emergency
Management Agency Grant adopted by Municipal Order No. 1002 on April 29, 2003, for
the purchase of fire equipment; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has
approved the application and is now ready to award this grant.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute all
documents necessary with the Federal Emergency Management Agency for a Federal
Emergency Management Agency Firefighters Matching Grant in the amount of $105,365
for the purchase of Exhaust Removal/Exhaust Extraction Systems and a training system.
The City's cash match will be in the amount of $11,707.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to Project F10007.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to
