AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MOBILE VISION,
INC., FOR THE PURCHASE OF IN -CAR VIDEO CAMERAS, FOR USE BY THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Mobile
Vision, Inc. in the amount of $21,385.00 for the purchase of seven (7) in -car video
cameras, for use by the Police Department, said bid being in substantial compliance
with the bid specifications, advertisement for bid, and as contained in the bid of
Mobile Vision, Inc., of December 5, 2003.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract
with Mobile Vision, Inc., for the purchase of in -car video cameras, authorized in
Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal, and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to Project PO0030.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and
will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
