HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO #2328laU1►1[N�7�1[�7.7�]�17�[��►�t3►.� A MUNICIPAL ORDER ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDS THROUGH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY (KOHS) FOR A 2019 GRANT AWARD IN THE AMOUNT OF $97,000 FOR AN AIRPORT TERMINAL ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM FOR BARKLEY REGIONAL AIRPORT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE GRANT AGREEMENT, KENTUCKY PROCUREMENT POLICY AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SAME WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for a 2019 State Homeland Security Grant through the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security, in the amount of $97,000, adopted by Municipal Order No. 2239 on May 28, 2019, to be used for an Airport Terminal Access Control System for the Barkley Regional Airport; and WHEREAS, the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security has approved the application and is now ready to award this grant in the amount of $97,000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby accepts grant funds in the amount $97,000 through the Kentucky Office of Homeland Security for an Airport Terminal Access Control System for the Barkley Regional Airport, and authorizes the Mayor to execute the Grant Agreement, the Kentucky Procurement Policy and all related documents. No local or in-kind match is required. SECTION 2.
