Chair Thompson referred to the paragraph on AKA and McNabb Elementary School and how it was stated that the decision to not sponsor was not voted on; if you look at the December minutes it states the commission would sponsor if the event was done in conjunction with McNabb and not AKA and she would call to find out. Chair Thompson made the call and it was not agreeable with AKA and so the PHRC could not sponsor and it did not have to be voted on. — MOTION to except the January 6, 2020, minutes as written from the January meeting by Commissioner Kenneth Hurt, Sr.; second by Commissioner Dann Patterson.
