A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
FY2019 ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS MATCHING GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND
SECURITY, FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$34,200, TO BE USED FOR THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a FY2019 Assistance to
Firefighters Matching Grant Application and all documents necessary through the Department of
Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, in the amount of $34,200, to be
used for a hose, supply line and nozzles. The total project cost is estimated at $38,000. The City's
cash match of 10%, $3,800, will come from the Fire Department's general fund budget.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
