A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
SAVE AMERICA'S TREASURES PRESERVATION PROJECTS GRANT APPLICATION
FROM THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND, WHICH IS ADMINISTERED BY THE
NATIONAL PARKS SERVICES (NPS) IN THE AMOUNT OF $200,000, TO REPAIR THE
FA(yADE OF THE COLUMBIA THEATRE, AND AUTHORIZING THE GRANTS
ADMINISTRATOR TO SUBMIT THE GRANT APPLICATION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application
through the National Park Service (NPS) in the amount of $200,000, to repair the fagade of the
Columbia Theatre. There is a dollar -for -dollar, non -Federal match, which can be cash or
documented in-kind, that shall be provided by the Paducah Arthouse Alliance (PAHA).
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
