ORDINANCE NO. 2006-4-7 100
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH CENTRAL PAVING COMPANY FOR
RENTAL OF VARIOUS EQUIPMENT FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2006
CALENDAR YEAR AND FOR THE 2007 CALENDAR YEAR
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute
a contract with Central Paving Company for rental of the following equipment, at the
following per -hour prices for the remainder of the 2006 calendar year and for the 2007
calendar year:
Tractor Scraper
$80.00
Dump Truck (tandem axle)
$50.00
Dump Truck (tri -axle)
$52.00
Excavator
$90.00
Backhoe
$40.00
Track Loader
$30.00
Motor Grader
$50.00
Vibratory Roller - Small
$25.00
Vibratory Roller - Large
$32.00
Dozer
$90.00
Dozer (large)
$105.00
Crane
$80.00
Hydro Seeder
$80.00
Labor
$25.00
Landfill Disposal Fee
$50.00 per load
Said bid being in substantial compliance with the bid specifications and
advertisement for bids, as contained in the bid of Central Paving Company of March 16,
2006.
The above contract contains a provision for a one-year option to renew.
SECTION 2. The purchase price for said rental equipment shall be
charged to various accounts.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective upon summary
publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
