ORDINANCE NO. 2006-3-7082
A particular tract of land situation in McCracken County, Kentucky on the
Olivet Church Road, owned by Falconite-Hipp, LLC and Mike Kelly as
recorded in Deed Book 1076 Page 168, Deed Book 1074 Page 419 and
Deed Book 903 Page 1, at the McCracken County Court Clerk's office
and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the east right of way line of KY -998 (as known as
Olivet Church Road), said point being an easterly extension of the
southern property line of Pace Place Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book
G page 179; thence from the point of beginning, along the aforesaid south
property line of Pace Place Subdivision, North 68 degrees 31 minutes 11
seconds West a distance of 1,753.48 feet to a line with the James
Properties, Inc.; thence South 22 degrees 32 minutes 46 seconds West a
distance of 694.27 feet to the northwest corner of the William Potter
property; thence South 68 degrees 56 minutes 10 seconds East a distance
of 1,411.65 feet to the southwest corner of the Mike Kelly property;
thence North 22 degrees 43 minutes 16 seconds East a distance of 100.00
feet to the northwest property corner of Mike Kelly; thence South 68
degrees 56 minutes 10 seconds East a distance of 340.03 feet to the east
-' right of way line of Olivet Church Road, said line being contiguous with
the existing City of Paducah Corporate Limits, also being on the western
property line the Paducah Partners property; thence along the east right of
line of Olivet Church Road North 22 degrees 43 minutes 16 seconds East
a distance of 581.58 feet to the point of beginning. Said property contains
26.89 acres, more or less.
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, BY INTENT TO ANNEX CERTAIN PROPERTY LYING
ADJACENT TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, AND
DEFINING ACCURATELY THE BOUNDARY OF SAID PROPERTY TO BE
INCLUDED WITHIN THE SAID CORPORATE LIMITS
WHEREAS, a tract of property adjacent to the present city limits, located
on Olivet Church Road, is urban in character and suitable for development for urban
purposes without unreasonable delay; and
WHEREAS, the property is contiguous to the present corporate limits of
the City, and it is desirable and necessary to annex the hereinafter described property; and
WHEREAS, said tract of land is not within the boundary of another
incorporated city; and
WHEREAS, the owners have requested such annexation in writing to the
Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Paducah.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. It is the intent of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, to annex
the hereinafter described property, and therefore that the hereinafter described property
be annexed to, and be made a part of the City of Paducah, Kentucky said real property

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
