HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005-1-6910�I Cl) ORDINANCE NO. 2005-1-69 10 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONE CHANGE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5510 CAIRO ROAD, AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution passed by the Paducah Planning Commission on December 6, 2004, and entitled, "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED ZONING CHANGE FROM B-1 TO M- 1 FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 5510 CAIRO ROAD" be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification and the map amendment proposed in said resolution be, and the same are hereby, declared to be in agreement with the comprehensive plan of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. That the zone classification of the following described property be, and it is hereby, changed from B-1, Convenience & Service Zone to M-1, Light Industrial Zone: A particular piece of land situated in Paducah, McCracken County, Kentucky and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the Corporation Limits Line of the City of Paducah and the southerly Right -of -Way line of Kentucky Highway 305 (A.K.A. Old Cairo Road) with a Right -of -Way width of 30 feet from centerline of the highway; thence South 18 degrees 36 minutes 19 seconds West a distance of 243.84 feet to a point, said point being the point of beginning; thence from the point of beginning North 73 degrees 42 minutes 38 seconds East a distance of 120.59 feet to a point, thence South 18 degrees 34 minutes 53 seconds West a distance of 432.71 feet to an existing iron pin with cap marked "PLS 1955"; thence South 77 degrees 01 minute 59 seconds East a distance of 100 feet to a point; thence South 18 degrees 33 minutes 07 seconds West a distance of 564.78 feet to a point; thence North 76 degrees 43 minutes 36 seconds West a distance of 200 feet to an existing'/4 inch iron pipe; thence North 18 degrees 36 minutes 19 seconds East a distance of 937.26 feet to the point of beginning, containing 3.4925 acres (152,134.15 square feet). SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
