A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE ALL
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $2,500 FROM
BURLINGTON NORTHERN SANTA FE RAILWAY FOUNDATION TO ASSIST THE
PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT IN PROVIDING A YOUTH POLICE ACADEMY
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary
to obtain a grant in the amount of $2,500 from the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway
Foundation to assist the Paducah Police Department in providing a Youth Police Academy twice
a year to area youth ages 13 to 17 who may be interested in law enforcement. A local cash match
is not required.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption. 4"'L
