A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE PLANNING DEPARTMENT
TO APPLY FOR AN ONLINE GRANT THROUGH THE FIREHOUSE SUBS PUBLIC
SAFETY FOUNDATION GRANT PORTAL TO REQUEST BETWEEN $10,340 FOR THE
FIRE DEPARTMENT TO PURCHASE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND ENGAGEMENT
SUPPLIES
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City hereby authorizes the Planning Department to apply for an
online grant through the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation grant portal for funding in an
amount of $10,340 for the Paducah Fire Department to purchase public education and
engagement supplies to be used in the department's education and community risk reduction
initiatives. No local cash or in-kind match is required.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
