HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO # 1679MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1679 A MUNICIPAL ORDER ADOPTING THE AMENDMENT OF THE GOALS AND OBJECTIVES FOR THE 2025 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR THE CITY OF PADUCAH WHEREAS, the Paducah Planning Commission, held a public hearing on March 5, 2007, to hear the objections and suggestions of all interested parties to adopt the City of Paducah — 2025 Comprehensive Plan Statement of Goals & Objectives; and WHEREAS, KRS 100.193 requires the Paducah City Planning Commission and the City of Paducah to adopt the Goals and Objectives of the City of Paducah 2025 Comprehensive Plan; and WHEREAS, at a meeting held on March 5, 2007, the Paducah Planning Commission adopted a Resolution recommending to the Board of Commissioners the City of Paducah -2025 Comprehensive Plan Statement of Goals & Objectives; and WHEREAS, pursuant to KRS 100.197 the elements of the Comprehensive Plan shall be reviewed at least once every five years by the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, if the goals and objectives statement are amended the proposed amendments shall be submitted to the Board of Commissioners; and WHEREAS, at a meeting held on June 18, 2012, the Paducah Planning Commission adopted a Resolution recommending to the Board of Commissioners the Amendment of the Goals and Objectives for the 2025 Comprehensive Plan for the City of Paducah, Kentucky. BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby adopts the City of Paducah - Amendment of the Goals and Objectives for the 2025 Comprehensive Plan Statement recommended and adopted by the Paducah Planning Commission pursuant to the provisions of KRS 100.193 and KRS 100.197 as attached hereto. SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption. ATTEST: Tammara S.
