AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF POLICE
INTERCEPTOR PURSUIT VEHICLES FOR THE PADUCAH POLICE
DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT
FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Paducah Ford, Inc.
in the amount of $198,990.00, for sale to the City of ten 2006 Ford Crown Victoria police
interceptor pursuit vehicles for use by the Police Department, said bid being in substantial
compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of Paducah Ford, Inc. of
August 10, 2005.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Paducah Ford, Inc. for the purchase of ten 2006 Ford Crown Victoria police interceptor
pursuit vehicles, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid
proposal and all contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Vehicles Passenger Police
account.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
