AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF
THREE GIANT VACUUM LEAF LOADER MACHINES FOR USE IN THE PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of Municipal Equipment, Inc.,
in the total amount of $56,670.00, for two Giant Vacuum Leaf Loader Machines trailer mounted
at $19,460.00 each and one Giant Vacuum Leaf Loader Machine skid mounted at $17,750 for use
in the Public Works Department, said bids being in substantial compliance with bid
specifications, and as contained in the bids of Municipal Equipment, Inc., of August 3,
2005.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract with
Municipal Equipment, Inc., for the purchase of three Giant Vacuum Leaf Loader Machines,
authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all contract
documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Project #EQ0011.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
