HomeMy WebLinkAbout2007-8-7314ORDINANCE NO. 2007-8-7314 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH H & G CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC., FOR THE COLEMAN ROAD/US 60 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT CI' WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2007-2-7236 to enter into a contract with H & G Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $376,128.09 for the Coleman Road/US 60 Intersection Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of $61,082.40 for necessary changes and KYTC project permit requirements, increasing the total contract price to $437,210.49. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $61,082.40 with H & G Construction Company, Inc., for necessary changes and KYTC project permit requirements, increasing the total cost to $437,210.49. SECTION 2. This shall be charged to the Coleman Road Turn Lane (ST0029). SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: JUnff4at4e? X &A, Tammara S.
