A MUNICIPAL ORDER ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDS THROUGH THE
KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT FOR LIBRARIES & ARCHIVES (KDLA) FOR A FY2019 LOCAL
RECORDS PROGRAM GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $23,974 FOR THE PURCHASE OF
SERVICES RELATED TO DIGITIZING RECORDS FOR THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE GRANT AGREEMENT AND ALL
DOCUMENTS RELATED TO SAME
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah applied for a FY2019 Local Records Program Grant
through the Kentucky Department for Libraries & Archives (KDLA), adopted by Municipal Order No.
2168 on October 23, 2018, to be used for the purchase of services related to digitizing records for the
Paducah Police Department; and
WHEREAS, the Kentucky Department for Libraries & Archives has approved the
application and is now ready to award this grant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby accepts grant funds in the amount of
$23,974.00 through the Kentucky Department for Libraries & Archives for a FY2019 Local Records
Program Grant for the purchase of services related to digitizing records for the Paducah Police
Department and authorizes the Mayor to execute the Grant Agreement and all related documents. No
local or in kind match is required.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its
adoption. 4
