HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO # 2170MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 2170 A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY, FEDERAL EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY, FOR AN ASSISTANCE TO FIREFIGHTERS MATCHING GRANT IN AN AMOUNT OF $270,000 FOR A HEAVY RESCUE TRUCK FOR THE PADUCAH FIRE DEPARTMENT BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application and all documents necessary through the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency, for an Assistance to Firefighters matching grant in the amount of $270,000 for a heavy rescue truck for the Paducah Fire Department. Local cash match will be in the amount of $30,000 which will be provided through the Fire Department's general fund. SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
