A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF A GRANT
APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN AN AFRICAN
AMERICAN CIVIL RIGHTS GRANT, THROUGH THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE, IN
AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $50,000.00, ON BEHALF OF THE HOTEL
METROPOLITAN
BE IT ORDERED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH,KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby authorizes and directs the execution of
a grant application and all documents necessary to obtain an African American Civil Rights
Grant, through the National Park Service, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00, on behalf of
the Hotel Metropolitan. No match is required for this grant.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
