AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY,
TRANSPORTATION CABINET, DEPARTMENT OF GOVERNMENTAL RELATIONS,
AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, FOR RESURFACING OF APPROVED CITY
STREETS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a reimbursement
agreement between the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Transportation Cabinet, Department of
Governmental Relations, and the City of Paducah, Kentucky, for Municipal Road Aid
Discretionary Bond funding in an amount not to exceed $450,000 for the bituminous resurfacing
of approved city streets. This funding is in addition to the regular municipal aid funds received
for the 2006-2007 fiscal year.
SECTION 2. Funds will be expended from the MAP account.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become
effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
