HomeMy WebLinkAboutMO # 2081MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 2081 A MUNICIPAL ORDER ACCEPTING THE BID OF CENTRAL PAVING COMPANY OF PADUCAH, INC., FOR COMPOST GRINDING OF TREE DEBRIS AND YARD WASTE, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accepts the bid of Central Paving Company of Paducah, Inc., for compost grinding of tree debris and yard waste in the amount of $600.00 per hour for the remaining portion of the 2018 calendar year and with three optional one-year term renewals. Said contract is in substantial compliance with bid specifications, advertisement for bids, and bid of Central Paving Company of Paducah, Inc., dated February 22, 2018. SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract between the City of Paducah and Central Paving Company of Paducah, Inc., for compost grinding of tree debris and yard waste as set out in Section 1 above. Further, the Mayor is authorized, subsequent to the recommendation of the City Engineer -Public Works Director, the option to execute three optional one-year term renewals upon mutual agreement of both parties. SECTION 3. This expenditure shall be charged to the Miscellaneous Contractual/Rental Equipment - Solid Waste Fund account. SECTION 4. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption. Mayor ATTEST: Tammara S.
