A MUNICIPAL ORDER ACCEPTING THE BID OF TAG TRUCK CENTER
FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF TWO (2) NEW DIESEL DUMP TRUCKS WITH SNOW
PLOWS AND SALT SPREADERS FOR USE BY THE PADUCAH ENGINEERING PUBLIC
WORKS DEPARTMENT STREET DIVISION AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A CONTRACT FOR SAME
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah accepts the bid of TAG Truck Center for two
(2) New Diesel Dump Trucks with Snow Plows and Salt Spreaders, for a total price of
$235,084.00, for use by the Paducah Engineering Public Works Department Street Division, said
bid being in substantial compliance with bid specifications, and as contained in the bid of TAG
Truck Center of November 9, 2017.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract TAG Truck
Center for the purchase of two (2) New Diesel Dump Trucks with Snow Plows and Salt
Spreaders, authorized in Section 1 above, according to the specifications, bid proposal and all
contract documents heretofore approved and incorporated in the bid.
SECTION 3. This purchase shall be charged to Rolling Stock/Vehicles Fleet
Lease Trust Fund Account No. 71000210-540050.
SECTION 4. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its adoption.
