A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE AN
APPLICATION FOR A 2012 HOMELAND SECURITY REIMBURSEMENT GRANT
THROUGH THE KENTUCKY DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY IN THE
AMOUNT OF $80,000, FOR FUNDING TO PURCHASE HAND-HELD RADIOS TO
COMPLETE THE HAND-HELD RADIO REPLACEMENT PROJECT FOR THE PADUCAH
POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application to
obtain a,2012 Homeland Security Reimbursement Grant through the Kentucky Department of
Homeland Security in the amount of $80,000, for funding to purchase twenty-seven (27) hand-
held radios to complete the Police Department's Hand -Held Radio Replacement Project. A local
cash match is not required.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
