HomeMy WebLinkAbout2017-04-8483ORDINANCE 2017-4-8483 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 FOR THE OLIVET CHURCH ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2015-05-8239 to enter into a contract with Jim Smith Contracting Company, LLC, in the amount of $6,380,137.40 for construction of the Olivet Church Road Improvement Project; and WHEREAS, a final invoice has been received which results in an overall savings to the City, therefore, Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $114,000.95, is required to finalize the total project cost for the above referenced contract to $6,266,136.09. BE IT ORDAINED BY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Change Order 1 for an overall price reduction in the amount of $114,000.95 for the City of Paducah's Olivet Church Road Improvement Project, henceforth, decreasing the total contract price to $6,266;136.09. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: Tammara S.
