ROLL CALL
At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners
held in the Commission Chambers at City Hall at 7:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, August 6, 1991, Mayor Montgomery presided, and upon
call of the roll by the City Clerk, the following answered to
their names: Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Hornsby, Taylor
and Mayor Montgomery (5).
NOTICES OF CALLED MEETING
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by
Commissioner Grumley, that the executed copies of the Notice of
Called Meeting to be held at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 6,
1991, be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll,
yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Hornsby, Taylor and Mayor
Montgomery (5).
MUNICIPAL ORDERS
BARGE LEASE WITH TVA
Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by
ti Commissioner Coleman, that a Municipal Order entitled, "A
MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A LEASE
AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE TENNESSEE VALLEY AUTHORITY (TVA)
AND THE CITY OF PADUCAH IN THE AMOUNT OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS
($100.00) FOR USE OF A FLAT DECK BARGE", be adopted. Adopted
on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Coleman, Grumley,
Hornsby, Taylor and Mayor Montgomery (5).
AMEND BUILDING PERMITS
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by
Commissioner Grumley, that a Municipal Order entitled, "A
MUNICIPAL ORDER PERTAINING TO CITY BUILDING PERMITS"", be
adopted.
Commissioner Coleman offered motion, seconded by
Commissioner Hornsby, that a Municipal Order entitled, "A
MUNICIPAL ORDER PERTAINING TO CITY BUILDING PERMITS", be
TABLED. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners
Coleman, Grumley, Hornsby, Taylor and Mayor Montgomery (5).

REPORT OF COMMISSIONERS OF WATER WORKS
The Commissioners of Water Works reported to the City
Commission. Chairman Brockenborough introduced members of the
Water Board. Allan Kleet was absent. Chairman Brockenborough
introduced Paducah Water Works General Manager/CEO Marvin
Devers and Glen Anderson, Office Manager. Mr. Devers then
answered questions posed by the City Commission.

REVISED DATES FOR FLOODWALL RENOVATIONS
Mayor Montgomery announced that she has been informed
that all construction on the floodwall will be postponed until
June, 1992.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Hornsby offered motion, seconded by
Commissioner Taylor, that the Board of Commissioners go into
Executive Session for discussions which might lead to the
appointment, discipline or dismissal of an individual employee,
and to discuss litigation. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas,
Commissioners Coleman, Grumley, Hornsby, Taylor and Mayor
Montgomery (5).
At the conclusion of the Executive Session the Board
reconvened in open session, whereupon the Mayor announced there
was no further business.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
