At a Called Meeting of the Board of Commissioners
held in the Commission Chambers at City Hall at 7:30 p.m.,
Tuesday, July 7, 1992, Mayor Protem Feezor presided, and upon
call of the roll by the City Clerk, the following answered to
their names: Commissioners Mayor Protem Feezor, Grumley, and
Hornsby (3). Mayor Montgomery and Commissioner Taylor and
were absent (2).
NOTICES OF CALLED MEETING
Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by
Commissioner Hornsby, that the executed copies of the Notice of
Called Meeting to be held at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 1992,
be received and filed. Adopted on call of the roll, yeas,
Commissioners Commissioners Grumley, Hornsby and Mayor Protem
Feezor (3).
MUNICIPAL ORDER
ELDERLY INDEPENDENCE PROGRAM FUNDING
Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by
Commissioner Hornsby, that a Municipal Order entitled, "A
MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR FUNDING THROUGH
THE HOPE FOR ELDERLY INDEPENDENCE PROGRAM, DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING TO SAME", be adopted. Adopted
on call of the roll, yeas, Commissioners Grumley, Hornsby and
Mayor Protem Feezor (3).
INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGE SYSTEMS PRESENTATION
Public Works Director David Harvell gave a ✓
presentation and update on the infrastructure management
systems, along with that firm's representative.
EXECUTIVE SESSION
Commissioner Grumley offered motion, seconded by
Commissioner Hornsby, that the Board of Commissioners tofinto
Executive Session for discussions which might lead to the
appointment, discipline, or dismissal of an individual
employee, to discuss labor negotiations, and to discuss
litigation. Adopted on call of the roll, Commissioners
Grumley, Hornsby and Mayor Protem Feezor (3).
At the conclusion of the Executive Session the Board
reconvened in open session, whereupon Mayor Protem Feezor
announced there was no further business.
Upon motion the meeting adjourned.
