HomeMy WebLinkAbout2016-06-8375ORDINANCE NO. 2016-6-8375 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH A & K CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR THE DOME RELOCATION PROJECT WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2015-12-8339 to enter into a contract with A & K Construction, Inc. for the Dome Relocation Project in the amount of $878,153.00; and WHEREAS, the City authorized a separate incentive payment up to $34,500 if substantial work was completed before March 11, 2016; and WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required for an increase in the amount of $2,348.26 for adjustment of minor additions and deletions were necessary to finalize the project for the above referenced contract, increasing the total contract price to $880,501.26. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 for an increase in the amount of $2,348.26 with A & K Construction, Inc. for adjustment of minor additions and deletions to finalize the Dome Relocation Project, increasing the total cost to $880,501.26. SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to project account DT0041, account number 040-8827-536-2307. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424. ATTEST: Tammara S.
