ORDINANCE NO. 2012-2-7901
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 WITH KOVATCH MOBILE EQUIPMENT CORPORATION
FOR THE PURCHASE OF A 2012 FIRE RESCUE VEHICLE
WHEREAS, the City approved Ordinance No. 2011-11-7880 to enter into
a contract with Kovatch Mobile Equipment Corporation in the amount of $149,460.00,
for the purchase of a 2012 Fire Rescue Vehicle for use by the Paducah Fire Department;
and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is required in the amount of $2,118.00,
due to changes, additions, and clarifications discussed during a pre -construction meeting
on January 13, 2012, increasing the total contract price to $151,578.00.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Change Order
No. 1 with Kovatch Mobile Equipment Corporation for an increase in the amount of
$2,118.00 for the purchase of a 2012 Fire Rescue Vehicle, increasing the total contract
price to $151,578.00.
SECTION 2. This expenditure shall be charged to the Rolling
Stock/Vehicles - Fleet Lease Trust Fund account.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
