A MUNICIPAL ORDER AMENDING MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1621
ENTITLED, "A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
HAZARDOUS MITIGATION MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION AND ALL
DOCUMENTS NECESSARY THROUGH THE KENTUCKY DIVISION OF EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT REQUESTING 75% FEDERAL FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $75,120,
12% STATE FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,019, AND 13% LOCAL FUNDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $13,020 FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF AN EMERGENCY
GENERATOR AT EITHER FIRE STATION NO. 1", PARKS DEPARTMENT OR THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Municipal Order No. 1621 adopted by the City of Paducah on
July 26, 2011, entitled "A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE A HAZARDOUS MITIGATION MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM
APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY THROUGH THE KENTUCKY
DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REQUESTING 75% FEDERAL FUNDS IN
THE AMOUNT OF $75,120,12% STATE FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,019, AND 13%
LOCAL FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $13,020 FOR THE PURCHASE AND
INSTALLATION OF AN EMERGENCY GENERATOR AT FIRE STATION NO. 1" be
amended to include two alternative locations for the generator project: Alternative 1) Parks
Department with a total project cost of $175,000 and apportioned as follows: $131,250 federal
share, $21,000 state share, and $22,750 in local matching funds and Alternative 2) Police
Department with a total project cost of $157,140 and apportioned as follows: $117,855 federal
share, $18,857 state share, and $20,428 local share. Local share of $13,020 will be from the
Commission Contingency account with remaining balances for alternative locations 1 & 2 to be
provided from the Parks/Engineering operational budget.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
