A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
PERPETUAL WATER LINE EASEMENT AND TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION
EASEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PADUCAH AND HENDRON WATER DISTRICT

FOR A WATER LINE EXTENSION ALONG ELMDALE ROAD AT THE INTERSECTION
OF FARWOOD DRIVE IN FOREST HILLS
WHEREAS, Hendron Water District is in the process of extending a water main
from a Paducah Water Works line over and across property owned by the City of Paducah
located within Forest Hills; and
WHEREAS, Hendron Water District requests a perpetual 15' wide utility
easement and a 10' wide temporary construction easement located along the southerly side of
Elmdale Road at the intersection of Farwood Drive in Forest Hills for the construction of the
water main; and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of permitting the aforesaid easements to
Hendron Water District; and
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah and Hendron Water District have now entered
into an agreement pertaining to the foregoing and do desire that same be set forth in writing and
be made part of the public records of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and recorded in the office
of the County Court Cleric of McCracken County, Kentucky.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a perpetual Water
Line Easement and Temporary Construction Easement with Hendron Water District for a water
line extension along Elmdale Road at the intersection of Farwood Drive in Forest Hills.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
