A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF A
PORTION OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 3189 JACKSON STREET TO
PADUCAH INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FINANCE CORPORATION AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah adopted Ordinance No. 2011-10-7866 on
October 11, 2011, providing for the closing of a portion of Adams Street and two public
alleys bounded by Clark Street on the North, Jackson Street on the South, South 3l"
Street on the East, and Lone Oak Road on the West; and
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 2011-10-7866, authorized the Mayor to
execute a quitclaim deed to each of the property owners in or abutting the public way and
for each property owner to acquire title to that portion of property; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to transfer the portion of property located at
3189 Jackson Street received as a result of the street and alley closing.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby approves the transfer of a
portion of real property located at 3189 Jackson Street to the Paducah Independent
School District Finance Corporation for the new Paducah Middle School site.
SECTION 2. That the property authorized in Section 1 above, at 3189
Jackson Street, heretofore approved for transfer, is shown as parcel #39A (1,440 s.£) on
the Plat recorded in the McCracken County Court Clerk's office in Plat Book M, Page
495.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a quitclaim deed
to transfer the real property to McCracken County.
SECTION 4. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
