A MUNICIPAL ORDER AMENDING MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 1628
ENTITLED, "A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF REAL
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1247 NORTH 13TH STREET TO PURCHASE AREA
DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
DEED AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING TO SAME", TO CHANGE THE NAME
OF THE TRANSFEREE FROM PURCHASE AREA DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT TO
PURCHASE AREA HOUSING CORPORATION
WHEREAS, pursuant to 2-668 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, a written determination has been made by the City Manager that the
City does not have any use at this time or in the future for properties located 1247 North
13th Street, which constitutes surplus real estate.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Municipal Order No. 1628 is hereby amended to read
as follows: "The City of Paducah hereby approves the transfer of real property located at
1247 North 13th Street to Purchase Area Housing Cor oration for
new infill residential construction.
SECTION 2. That the property authorized in Section I above, heretofore
approved for transfer, is more particularly described as follows:
Lot B of the plat of the Waiver of Subdivision for the
Charlene Powell Estate, of record in Plat Section "K", Page
231 in the office of the McCracken County Court Clerk. The
foregoing real estate is more commonly known as 1247 and
1249 North 13th Street.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed and all
documents relating to same to transfer the real property to Purchase AreaDevelopment
lief Housing Corporation."
SECTION 4. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
