ORDINANCE NO. 2011 -9 -7861
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2011 -6 -7825,
ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY, ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2011,
THROUGH JUNE 30, 2012, BY ESTIMATING REVENUES AND RESOURCES AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF CITY GOVERNMENT"
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah adopted the FY2011 -2012 Fleet Plan by
Municipal Order No. 1617 subsequent to the approval of the Budget Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, compost yard improvements were started in the FY2010-
2011 but were not completed until after the approval of the Budget Ordinance for
FY2011 -2012; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to increase appropriations by $100,000 in the
Solid Waste Fund Compost Division and by $894,000 in the Fleet Trust Fund, for
funding of the Fleet Plan and the compost improvements; and
WHEREAS, KRS prohibits expenses to exceed the budget in any
department.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the annual budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
2011, and ending June 30, 2012, be amended by increasing appropriations by $100,000 in
the Solid Waste Fund Compost Division and by $894,000 in the Fleet Trust Fund.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
