A MUNICIPAL ORDER APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF REAL
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1142 NORTH 13TH STREET TO PURCHASE AREA
DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
DEED AND ALL DOCUMENTS RELATING TO SAME
WHEREAS, pursuant to 2-668 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Paducah, Kentucky, a written determination has been made by the City Manager that the
City does not have any use at this time or in the future for properties located 1142 North
13th Street, which constitutes surplus real estate.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The City of Paducah hereby approves the transfer of real
property located at 1142 North 13th Street to Purchase Area Development District for new
infill residential construction.
SECTION 2. That the property authorized in Section 1 above, heretofore
approved for transfer, is more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the north line of 13th Street, the dividing line
between blocks number 54 and 44 of the Harris, Flournoy, Trimble and
North Addition to Paducah, Kentucky, thence on a new line parallel with
said dividing line and towards the Ohio River 172.5 feet to an alley; thence
with the line of said alley towards Flournoy Street 40 feet to a stake;
thence on a line parallel with Flournoy Street towards 13th Street; 172.5
feet to a stake in the north line of 13tth Street; thence with the said line of
13th Street 40 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed and all
documents relating to same to transfer the real property to Purchase Area Development
District.
SECTION 4. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its adoption.
