A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY THROUGH THE
KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR FUNDS IN AN AMOUNT UP TO
$20,000, ON BEHALF OF HAZMAT ONE REGIONAL RESPONSE TEAM FOR A
VARIETY OF OPERATIONAL AND RESPONSE EQUIPMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application and
all documents necessary to obtain a 2011 HazMat CBRNE grant through the Kentucky Office of
Homeland Security in an amount up to $20,000, on behalf of HazMat One Regional Response
Team to purchase a variety of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive
operational and response equipment. No local cash or in-kind contribution is required.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
