A MUNICIPAL ORDER ACCEPTING THE BID OF AARON PRATHER IN
THE AMOUNT OF $5 FOR PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1116
OSCAR CROSS AVENUE AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A DEED
FOR SAME
WHEREAS, pursuant to 2-668 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paducah,
Kentucky, a written determination has been made by the City Manager that the City does not
have any use at this time or in the future for property located at 1116 Oscar Cross Avenue, which
constitutes surplus real estate; and
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids on January 31, 2016 and the deadline to
submit a bid was February 8, 2016; and
WHEREAS, the City received one bid by the deadline from Aaron Prather and he
proposes an investment of $1,000 for landscaping and yard maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to accept the offer of Mr. Prather.
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby accepts the bid of Aaron Prather
in the amount of $5 for the purchase of real property located at 1116 Oscar Cross Avenue.
SECTION 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a deed and any
necessary documents relating to same to complete the sale of the real property approved in
Section 1 above.
SECTION 3. This Order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its adoption.
