A MUNICIPAL ORDER AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
GRANT APPLICATION AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO OBTAIN A 2016
REIMBURSEMENT GRANT THROUGH THE KENTUCKY OFFICE OF HOMELAND
SECURITY, LAW ENFORCEMENT PROTECTION PROGRAM, IN THE AMOUNT OF
$59,401.60 TO BE USED TO PURCHASE 65 TASERS AND RELATED EQUIPMENT FOR
THE PADUCAH POLICE DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a grant application and
all documents necessary to obtain a 2016 reimbursement grant through the Kentucky Office of
Homeland Security, Law Enforcement Protection Program, in the amount of $59,401.60 to be
used to reimburse the Paducah Police Department for the purchase of 65 tasers and related
equipment.
SECTION 2. This order shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of
its adoption.
