A MUNICIPAL ORDER AMENDING SECTIONS A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I,
AND M OF THE POSITION AND PAY SCHEDULE TO REFLECT ABOLISHING A
POSITION IN THE GENERAL GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT, FILLING VACANCIES
IN THE INSPECTION AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS, SHOWING VACANCIES IN THE
FIRE, FINANCE, AND ENGINEERING-PUBLICWORKS DEPARTMENTS, SHOWING
MERIT INCREASES, AND FIRE AND POLICE LONGEVITY CHANGES
BE IT ORDERED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah hereby amends the Position and Pay
Schedule to reflect the following:
■ Abolish the position of Interim City Manager
■ Return former Interim City Manager position to previous position of
Finance Director
■ Fill two previously vacant positions of Clerical Assistant in the Inspection
Department
■ Fill vacancy for a Fire Assistant Chief in the Fire Department
■ Show additional vacancy for Fire Captain
■ Show vacancy of Accountant in the Finance Department
■ Show vacancy of Secretary I in the Engineering -Public Works
Department
■ Show Merit increases adopted by the Commission on April 26, 2011
■ Change FSLA status for Engineering Assistant III from non-exempt to
exempt in the Engineering -Public Works Department
■ Changes as a result of Fire and Police longevity
SECTION 2. This Order will be in full force and effect from and after the
date of its adoption.
